The BPC Women's Ministry exists to foster spiritual growth within, promote community among, and encourage service by the women of BPC so that "in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 4:11).
Women’s Bible Study
The Women's Bible Study meets one evening a week in the spring and fall, for sessions that last between 8 and 12 weeks each. The topics vary from session to session, but include studies of various books of the Bible, the lives of Bible characters, and other subjects relevant to Christian living. These gatherings always include a time of prayer and fellowship.
Prayer Triads
Prayer Triads meet on a regular basis and provide opportunities for ongoing, close relationships in which women support one another through prayer. These groups consist of three or four women who meet to pray primarily for one another and for those in their circles of influence who have yet to come to faith in Christ.
Annual Women’s Retreat
The BPC Women’s Retreat offers the opportunity to draw apart for a day or two to be refreshed, encouraged, and edified. Highlights include focused teaching, small group prayer, singing, and recreation. Every other year, the First Presbyterial ARP Women's Ministries also hosts a retreat every other year at the Bonclarken Conference Center.
Fellowship Gatherings
Fellowship Gatherings are held throughout the year and, in addition to regularly scheduled evening fellowships, include the annual Women's Christmas Gathering as well as special celebrations such as wedding and baby showers.
